About the Study
We are conducting a research study to evaluate the effectiveness of a digital health program combined with an innovative pain relief device for people with chronic low back pain.
If you are a UnitedHealth Care member experiencing chronic low back pain, you may be eligible to participate in this 12-week study.

What Does Participation Involve?
Participants will be randomly assigned to one of two groups:
Group 1 will receive:
- Access to a digital program with exercise therapy, educational content, and personal health coaching
- An Enso device that provides non-drug pain relief through gentle nerve stimulation
- Instructions and support on using both the program and device
Group 2 will continue with their usual medical care during the study. After completing the study, they will receive the digital program and Enso device at no cost for 12 months, starting one year from their enrollment date.
All participants will:
- Complete online surveys about their pain, physical function, and well-being at weeks 1, 2, 6, and 12
- Receive $30 gift cards for each completed survey (up to $120 total)
- Have their healthcare utilization and medication use tracked through medical records
